In Brčko District of BiH, on the premises of the University of East Sarajevo, Faculty of Economics, on 3-4 April 2019, the Final Confrence of the Project "Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education" (STINT project) was held.

The Conference gathered together all project partners, the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, 8 public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is University of Bihac, University of Banja Luka, Dzemal BijedicUniversity, University of Mostar, University of East Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo, University of Tuzla, University of Zenica, the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance, the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, international partners KU Leuven and Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Instituto Politécnico do Porto), Delegation of the European Union to BiH, National Erasmus+ Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, students and local community.

Organized by the Ministry for Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska, with support of Erasmus+ Project Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education (STINT Project), a one-day Conference Challenges in Higher Education - Internationalisation was held in Banja Luka on 8 April 2019.

The aim of the Conference was the exchange of knowledge and best practices toward an improvement of quality in higher education especially through internationalisation activities of domestic higher education institutions.

The Fifth Meeting of the Joint ERI SEE – RCC Working Group on Recognition of Academic Qualifications was held in Podgorica on 27 March 2019. Representatives of the ministries, ENIC/NARIC centres and quality assurance agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo (the name defined with the UN Resolution 1244 from 1999) participated at the meeting.

Within the Twinning project between Bosnia and Herzegovina as a beneficiary country and Croatia, France and Latvia as member states, entitled Strenghtening Institutional Capacity for Recognition of Qualification in Bosnia and Herzegovina, an analysis of existing legislation regulating recognition of higher education qualifications has been done. The analysis is a result of joint work of twinning partners and it will be used for further activities within the Project.

In Pаris, in the UNESCO Heаdquаrters, from 18 to 22 March 2019, the Second Intergovernmentаl Meeting on the Globаl Convention on the Recognition of Higher Educаtion Quаlificаtions wаs held. Representаtives from 140 countries with а right to vote, аs well аs 19 institutions аs observers, аttended the meeting. In December 2018, at the First Intergovernmental Meeting every single pаrаgrаph wаs discussed by the аttendees very precisely аnd thoroughly, аnd in some cаses if а consensus could not be achieved the voting was needed to be tаken to аdopt pаrаgrаphs.
