Within the EPER (Effective Partnership for Enhanced Recognition) project, in Zagreb, Republic of Croatia, on 17 February 2020 the workshop Development of the Guide for the Implementation of Council of Europe’s Recommendations on Recognition of Qualifications Held by Refugees was held. Representatives of the the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic Croatia as well as ENIC/NARIC centre of Croatia as the leader of the Project, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia as well as public universities in Croatia attended the workshop.

The 4th Subcommittee meeting on topics related to Education, Research and Innovation, Information Society and Social Policy between the EU and Bosnia and Herzegovina took place on 20 February 2020 in Brussels. Representative of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, as a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina delegation, attended the meeting concerning recognition of foreign higher education qualifications in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representatives of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualification in Higher Education held a meeting with representatives of the Qualifications Agency of the Republic of Serbia. The Agency, as the ENIC centre of the Republic Serbia, represents the Republic of Serbia in the work of ENIC/NARIC networks. The meeting was held in the premises of the Agency, in Belgrade on 28 January 2020. The topics of the meeting were, primarily, the current issues in the recognition procedures of higher education qualifications in both countries, as well as mutual recognition between countries.

Two days Meeting Delivering the MAP REA (Multi-annual Action Plan on Regional Economic Area in the Western Balkans): Recognition of Academic Qualifications and Quality Assurance Systems in the Western Balkans, with representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo (the name defined with the UN Resolution 1244 from 1999), was held in Tirana, Albania, 4-5 February 2020. The Delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina consisted of representatives of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (CIP), the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance.
