The meeting of the Working Group on Recognition of Academic Qualifications Contact Points (CPs), Quality Assurance Agencies (QAAs) and ENIC/NARIC representatives of economies of Western Balkans took place on 13 and 14 December in Sarajevo. Representatives of all the economies attended the meeting as well as representatives of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) which was the host of the meeting, the director of the Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE), and consultants working on the assignment on Joint Master Degree in ICT and the Regional Recognition Database (RRD).

This new Erasmus+ call for proposals will continue the rollout of the European Universities initiative with a record total budget of €384 million.
The European Universities’ work encompasses all higher education institutions’ missions of education, research, innovation and service to society. These alliances have diverse models of systemic, structural and sustainable transnational cooperation which reinforce the quality, performance, attractiveness and international competitiveness of higher education across Europe, for the benefit of their students and staff, while promoting our democratic values.
The Erasmus+ 2023 European Universities call is now open to the participation of higher education institutions from all Western Balkans countries as full partners in the alliances.
Within the TST project, the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (CIP) passed the external evaluation procedure with representatives of ENIC/NARIC centres of Italy and Lithuania in the role of experts who did a peer review site visit in the premises of the CIP based on a self-evaluation report done by the management of the CIP. This was just a confirmation of CIP's commitment to reach the highest standards in the field of recognition and to implement the Lisbon Recognition Convention in Bosnia and Herzegovina fully. Additionally, CIP is one of the rare ENIC/NARIC centres which passed three rounds, out of five rounds from the beginning of this concept of ENIC/NARICs evaluation. After the site visit, the peer review team published a report with key recommendations for further improving the CIP domestic and international procedures and activities which will improve an already achieved excellence of the CIP and its staff.
The Conference "Higher Education - Trends and Innovations", organized by the Center for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (CIP) and the Project "Education for Employment", was held in Mostar, on October 11 and 12, 2022.
The Ninth Meeting of the Lisbon Recognition Convention Committee was held on 15 November 2022 in Strasbourg. Together with this meeting, the Lisbon Recognition Convention celebrates 25th anniversary of its signing so a small ceremony was held after the meeting.

Organized by the Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE), in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia, and the Agency for Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Croatia (AZVO), and supported by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), Workshop on the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications and Quality Assurance in Higher Education was held in Zagreb, Croatia, on 25-26 October 2022.
